Sharon Gold served as Vice President of Development and Commercial Assets for Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort, the premier resort in the Southeastern U.S. She has more than 25 years of experience in real estate development, interior design, architecture, strategic planning, construction and project management. Her background provides her a unique understanding of client needs as well as extensive practical experience to promote efficient project management and cost savings. Ms. Gold is noted for building and sustaining strong relationships with team members, partners, consultants, community stakeholders and government authorities. Ms. Gold joined Intrawest Corporation, the parent company of Sandestin, in 2005 as Director of Development in Orlando Florida. In 2008, she was promoted to th position of Vice President of Development and Commercial assets where she was responsible for the real estate and development for the resort. She was also a team member of the Executive team and assisted in coordinating all of the resort’s activities related to Development and Construction.Prior to joining Intrawest, Sharon worked for Jones Lang Lasalle where she was an onsight consultant for Microsoft . She was responsible for managing all construction activities for the Microsoft Corporate Headquarters in Redmond Washington, as well as the domestic US and Canada locations which encompassed over seventeen million square feet of real estate. She provided quarterly business reports, monthly KPI reports, process improvement and procurement strategies. She was also responsible for managing a team of individuals whose responsibilities included: furniture procurement and standards worldwide, construction management services for renovation projects of over 17 million square feet of existing facilities and special projects.Prior to Joining JLL, she worked for Interior Architects. She was an onsight consultant at Motorola, Office Depot and American Express.Specialties: Problem Solver
