Sharon Hartmann is a very diverse individual, and strives to learn more, and require less.In 2015, Sharon earned a B. S. Degree in Alternative and Renewable Energy Management at Everglades University with a 3.88 GPA.Sharon has experience in the construction industry as an office administrator from 2000-2009, and took a hiatus from that field when her husband and General Contractor of their business, Bruce Hartmann, passed away. Sharon is a master fiddler and has played violin for 40+ years. She plays in several bands of different genres in the greater Orlando Area, and solo's as well. She also teaches violin/fiddle and music theory.Sharon has been an Orange County, Fl Master Gardener Volunteer for since January 2010. She gives information based on University of Florida research to the general public at the Orange County Extension Center when volunteering her time. She cultivates permaculture landscaping, and is teaching children gardening at Birdsong Academy in Winter Park primarily using recycled material.Sharon is a very healthy person and achieves that by teaching deep and shallow water aerobics at the Central Fl Downtown YMCA and is an avid swimmer as well. Teaching others how to stay fit and healthy with emphasis on lifetime habits of exercise and balanced diet.Sharon is very interested in Distributed Energy, mainly bio-mass, sourced organic recycling, recycling in general, and solar electricity and water, and recently presented her capstone project on anaerobic digestive vs aerobic composting at the 2015 Annual Recycling Florida Today Conference.Sharon would like to pursue a career in permaculture consulting, recycling education, and/or sourcing organic waste for electricity and bio-fuel education, while solving problems playing the violin.Sharon's belief is that age is just a number, and does not want to retire. There is still way to much to do.
