Plan, design, develop and implement a brand-new pathology laboratory in the company’s first locationof this region. Provide leadership and technical expertise in multiple disciplines including but not limitedto Hematology, Coagulation, Chemistry, Microbiology, Molecular, Cytology and Histology.• Responsible for starting up and running overall operations and administration of the pathologylaboratory, including two satellite labs.• Hire, coach, train, and manage site technical personnel across multiple shifts.• Implement and validate site wide instrumentation in Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis andCoagulations.• Establish and maintain quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure complianceto industry regulatory standard.• Drive departments for innovation, continuous laboratory service and quality improvement, andstaff empowerment. Provide oversight and leadership within Integrated Oncology Phoenix site. Manage overall site operations, quality, compliances, customer expectations, and financial responsibilities.• Planned annual budget for capital equipment, maintenance expense, and staffing for Phoenix site to deliver operational results that meet corporate financial goal.• Developed site operating model and staffing plan to optimize operations and services to align with corporate objectives• Formulate business plans that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organization policies and procedures.• Established and maintained site wide clinical service quality controls and feedback systems to monitor operational health of all departments• Drove operation metrics review including quality, turn-around-time (TAT), customer satisfaction, client engagement, and financial analysis for continued improvement. Used metrics driven approach to improve site productivity and overall effectiveness.• Responsible for the overall operation, leadership, direction, and administration of the laboratory in accordance with CAP, ISO, NYS, CLIA and other regulatory agents• Evaluate performance and professional career growth for staff development

Single handedly built the entire Flow Cytometry lab from ground up by transforming Integrated Oncology’s Flow lab operations from California to Phoenix with aggressive timeline and within budget. Successfully validated and implemented comprehensive Flow test menu and built a management structure and competent technical support teams and ramp up to 24x7 operational services to meet clients’ requirement and corporate’s quality goal. Developed a comprehensive technologist development program to train and grow Flow technologists/Analysts. Maintained excellent TAT in Flow test to exceed client expectation. Implemented and conducted process improvements and cost containment initiatives in various departments like Flow, Molecular, Cytogenetic, FISH, IHC etc.
