• Responsible for all accounting, tax, consolidation of foreign affiliates, and management reporting.• Prepares and issues SEC reports including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, Proxy, and 8-K. Prepares financial statements, footnotes, and performs research to implement newly issued accounting pronouncements.• Reviews and approves journal entries, gross to net analysis, and balance sheet account reconciliations.• Responsible for the implementation of transfer pricing, intercompany profit elimination and the international consolidation of foreign entities, which resulted from a business combination purchase in November 2015.• Responsible for the Finance SAP implementation (1/1/17) across 3 global entities. • Liaison with external auditors to ensure all audit, SOX, and ad-hoc requests are met. • Reviews, approves and releases payments for Canadian entity.• Responsible for the selection and implementation of Workiva for SEC Reporting. • Oversees four direct reports and two consultants, supporting their performance management and career development.

•Responsible for all accounting for the R&D division, including VAT, R&D Tax Credit, management reporting, review of journal entries and reconciliations, and providing guidance on all accounting-related matters including US GAAP to IFRS conversion.•Responsible for the financial and accounting integration of an affiliate company, including all communications with external consultants for tax advice and valuation reports, obtaining consensus with local and international stakeholders and recommendations to management for the optimal financial integration. •Performs Financial Planning and Analysis for several clinical studies. Creates management reports, presentations, and correspondence with collaboration partner.•Responsible for the Accounts Payable and Purchasing departments, including verification of purchase order coding, payment releases, and ensuring processes remain efficient and compliant with internal policies.•Represents R&D division business needs in all company-wide initiatives including tax, project reporting, global SAP system changes, US GAAP to IFRS conversion, and SAP functionality decisions.•Oversees six direct reports, supporting their performance management and career development.

Planned, performed and presented results of audits performed. Audit areas included JSOX, Financial audits of R&D, Process audits of R&D, Compliance risk of R&D, as well as external vendor audits (specifically, Contract Research Organizations).

•Prepared and issued SEC reports including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, Proxy, and 8-K. Prepared financial statements, footnotes, and performed research to implement newly issued accounting pronouncements.•Managed a successful year one Sarbanes-Oxley implementation with AS/5 focus, and completed Sarbanes-Oxley responsibilities including risk assessment, scoping, documentation, testing, concluding, and coordination with external auditors. •Performed monthly budget vs. actual analysis of spend, quarterly calculation of stock compensation expense, and all stock administration responsibilities.

•Managed the Sarbanes-Oxley integration of the Pfizer Consumer Healthcare acquisition, including support of newly acquired business partners, analysis of new control environment, efficient implementation of control solutions and regular updates to the SOX core team and upper management.•Managed multiple audit teams of several staff, which included planning, reviewing, and concluding on internal audits of domestic and international affiliates.•Updated and improved internal audit programs to ensure consistency and compliance during audits. Presented remediation plans to affiliates to assist them in addressing reportable audit findings.
