I have a long clinical career, across four countries, specialising in oncology primarily with experience in renal transplant and emergency nursing. I was a key contributor to the implementation of the National Cancer Strategy in Ireland. During my time in oncology I delivered several innovative tools for patient management, established the first nurse led oncology clinical in Ireland, and wrote a short patient support boo, that was widely used throughout the hospitals in Ireland, titled "Coping with Chemotherapy".
