I have been helping businesses in the East Midlands to develop their export activity for several years. My career as an International Trade Adviser began in 1998 and soon became an established and well-respected Adviser with both my colleagues and clients. Since becoming an Area Manager in 2010, I have continued to work and develop my varied client base, from sole traders to multi-nationals, whilst developing and mentoring a team of International Trade Advisers.I am a natural motivator; I have developed and motivated a team of Advisers to consistently contribute to and, exceed all of our targets, whilst at the same time addressing specific client needs.I am an enthusiastic individual with proven skills in client liaison and sound experience of working within an International Trade team. I possess excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and am highly motivated. I demonstrate a professional manner and face challenges with a positive attitude.I have represented UKTI on several occasions both in the UK and overseas and currently lead on Aid Funded Business.
