I was employed by Gadget Repair Solutions to manage and create the new d2c platform. From the initial branding ideas I developed Mobeez, an online store selling refurbished mobile phones. With various marketing and advertising campaigns and driven SEO the sales have grown significantly with the development of the eBay and Amazon stores and the website www.mobeez.co.uk. Whilst managing a small team I am in charge of the daily maintenance of stock, sales, updating inventory, accounts, marketing and dealing with customer services. With my knowledge of design and marketing I am also currently working on other projects including a Mobile Phone Accessory store and a Mobile Phone Recycling piece.

I created the branding from logo, advertising and marketing material for an online gadget store 'The Gadget Cloud'. From there I created the website design and store fronts for many selling platforms. I had the daily task of maintaining the stores sales, eBay store, Amazon shop and social media pages. My tasks also included advertising, general accounting and arranging dispatching of the goods. I was also in charge of stock control and the research of the latest gadgets/gizmo's for our merchandise buyer. Accomplishments: With the branding, driven marketing campaigns and quality customer service I created high sales for the gadget store. Skills Used: With my creative skills I was able to create online marketing and advertising material.

I individually managed the day to day running of an online gadget store. From researching the market for new trends, negotiating with wholesalers the best price of new products and build relationships with new manufacturers, mainly in China, to selling the products via various platforms such as eBay, Amazon and our website www.nextgadget.co.uk. I maintained the website on a daily basis to ensure full functionality. With my extensive design background I marketed the consumer electronics with advertising mailouts and material to a vast customer database to generate the best sales. I undertook all the packaging and despatching of items sold on a daily basis, using a Royal Mail franking system. Produced and maintained accurate records of all puchases and sales using a company database. Conduct regular stock checks to maintain accurate records of stock levels. I also gained experience using Sage to raise invoices and keep track of accounts. On top of all this I provided an excellent customer service at all times.

I worked on a wide variety of corporate material such as brochure design, logos, re-branding, product catalogues, sales literature and advertising for a wide range of business and subject matter. Such clients included Bairstow Eves, Beresfords, Stock Brook Manor, Three Rivers Golf Club and many various local companies. Meetings with new clients to liase with them to see jobs through from the first design concept to print finish. Knowledge of all design techniques from litho print to digital. Some website design work was undertaken from initial concept.

Role included the day to day running of a DTP department. Working on various design jobs for both in-house and outside companies such as Inland Revenue, Ofsted, Xerox and UCL. Preparing artwork for print with knowledge of both Litho and Digital printing techniques. Client meetings and general admin work was also an essential task.

Working alongside the Senior Designer and Creative Director on many projects, such as creating brochures, leaflets, logos and corporate branding. Arranging meetings with clients. Answering the telephone and greeting guests in the office.
