Led system-wide the Women's Heart Advantage National Campaign (Beta Site for VHA), that educated women on the number one killer, heart disease. Campaign included news conference and screening opportunities. 30,000 Heart Healthy Kits (English/Spanish) were requested by women in the six months following kickoff. Heart service’s market share increased by 4% CMSA in one year (2001 – 2002) and there was an increase in women entering emergency center by 1,000 in two quarters. Led marketing efforts for 80,000 square feet Wellness Center that included membership packages. Center promotes lifestyle changes for general consumer with cardiovascular workouts, therapy, aquatics, alternative medicines and wellness education. Led marketing efforts for Wellness Institute that focused on executive physicals, Electron Beam Tomography (heart and body scans), travel medicine and corporate accounts. Continental One Pass Direct Mail Campaign allowed customers to earn 10,000 miles by purchasing executive physicals. Led marketing efforts for full service retail spa located in Wellness Center (Garden Spa) that offered occasion, holiday and executive spa packages. Partnered with Kneipp water healing therapies and products.Led marketing efforts for 600 square foot screening mammography center located in Macy’s at the Houston Galleria. Marketing initiatives included $500 Free Wardrobe drawing for patients, 10% off shopping at Macy’s the day you receive your mammogram and Tea Parties for women groups. Also, partnered with Estee Lauder during “Gift with Purchase” promotion in store providing 10,000 kits to women educating them on how to screen for breast cancer.
