Handle caseload mostly relating to sex crimes, crimes against children, crimes against vulnerable adults, and domestic violence. Work closely with law enforcement to guide investigations and charging decisions. Tried several cases to verdict, including several trials for Criminal Sexual Conduct with Minor, among others. Co-manage a team of new to mid-level prosecutors, assist with case decisions, plea offers, and guidance with cases and in court.

Tried cases against several defendants for burglary in a dwelling, trespass, and driving while ability impaired. Indicted over 100 felonies, including attempted murder, arson, burglary, assault with a dangerous instrument, criminal possession of a firearm, criminal sale of a controlled substance, kidnapping, false imprisonment and robbery charges. Conducted direct examinations of witnesses and over twenty cross examinations of defendants and defense witnesses who attempted alibi, justification, and misidentification defenses. Argued and prevailed in numerous hearings where defense sought suppression of defendants’ statements and seized property on constitutional grounds. Researched and wrote several winning motions on issues of facial sufficiency, consolidating, and speedy trial.
