At Mater Dei my main role is the coordinator of large fundraising events. I am part of a dynamic foundation/advancement team.

My primary role at Macarthur is to build the School Community and connect with the the wider Macarthur community. My goal is to create a cohesive and inclusive school environment in which our students can flourish.I do this by providing meaningful social and school based experiences for family and friends of the School community. I have changed the P&F model and have created a model more conducive to busy and time poor families. We have moved away from traditional meetings and employ email along with other methods of communications. The groups I have created under our new P&F model include a women's group, W@M, a men's group (M@M), and a group to explore christianity, Talk Back Thursday(TBT). I have established a Playgroup open to families with children already at Macarthur and children registered to attend in future years. This has proved very successful in helping children and parents and carers connect early with the School community.I have also introduced a Community Partnership Program. This program aligns 5 businesses to the School for a twelve month period. We have maintained these relationships now for four years with no turn over of companies yet. We now reach into our community and sponsor locally. We annually sponsor events such as Carols by Candlelight, the local show and society of fine arts, relay for life, pink ribbon amongst others.I have initiated an Annual Appeal which has shown significant growth in uptake. I have commenced an Annual Fundraising Dinner which has also grown significantly in both attendance and funds raised.I have initiated New Family Breakfasts, Tears and Tissues, an opportunity for current families to welcome new families, Headmaster Breakfasts and more.I spend time immersed within the community encouraging, listening and working with all.
