Reporting directly to the President & CEO of BCE Emergis Inc. coordinated the activities of the CEO’s office. The CEO’s mandate was to develop strategy, restructure the business and define and implement the optimal capital and shareholder structure for the corporation. - Coordinated the activities of the CEO’s office, including internal and external communications, correspondence, calendar, budget, meetings, and event planning.- Coordinated travel and meetings with investment banking firm, analysts, and potential investors (70) and Emergis CEO & CFO, for investor “roadshow” where Emergis was spun out from BCE through secondary public offering ($360m). Arrangements included travel on private aircraft throughout Canada and the US on a tight time schedule.- Received bonus for work on the successful conclusion of the secondary public offering.- Assisted CEO and Chief HR Officer with confidential audit and investigations by analyzing expense reports and travel schedules for Executive personnel.- Reviewed expense reports submitted to the CEO by his senior team. Investigated expense report claims that were not within policy.- On a monthly basis, audited a year of randomly selected Senior Management expenses.- Created a report for the Chair of the Audit Committee, which outlined the CEO’s expenses every quarter. This report was presented to the Chair of the Audit committee as part of the governance process.- Over an 18-month time frame supported the CEO with preparation for 12 board meetings, 40 board committee meetings and 3 shareholder meetings. Preparation included the development of presentations and the finalizing of the meeting agendas.- Built and maintained a comprehensive database of contacts.
