Dr. Sharon Peng is a distinguished and accomplished leader in the field of audio engineering who serves as the Senior Vice President of Global Engineering Consumer Audio SBU for HARMAN‘s Lifestyle Division. With an unwavering passion for technology and innovation, Sharon has played a pivotal role in driving engineering and product development initiatives for HARMAN Consumer Audio, leading the engineering teams for brands such as JBL, Harman Kardon, and AKG across Home Audio, Portables, Headphones & Wearables, IOT & Accessories and Car Audio Aftermarket products.With a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Sharon has a strong scientific background that she has consistently complemented with a wealth of practical experience. With a career spanning over two decades in the technology industry, she has honed her expertise in various engineering disciplines, including advanced audio and acoustics research, digital signal and speech processing and filtering, wired and wireless audio/video/gaming system platform and architecture designs using AI, ANC, TWS and machine learning algorithms.Sharon's commitment to staying at the forefront of cutting-edge advancements has made her a driving force behind HARMAN's success in delivering enhanced consumer experiences and groundbreaking consumer audio products to customers worldwide.
