Working for various retailers in the late 80’s 90’s making my way up to management level,I decided change of direction was In order .In 1993 I started at Stagecoach south as a cashier in the cash office with a team of five .As the world moved forward into computers and machines instead of people ,the team reduced to myself and the chief cashier .1998 I went on maternity leave and later that year started working with my husband collating his accounts at this point manually, within the motor trade .As my children grow up I became account manager for the business working three days a week. Sage 50 cash accounting is the accounts package I’ve been using but recently have now moved to Xero. I prepare the accounts to VAT standard ,bank reconciliation ,customer service ,I cover reception ,deal with suppliers and their monthly statements chasing any outstanding credits .and chase payments . Due to the purchase of a second business I now do this for both companies.Looking for a new challenge,I have a can do attitude ,enjoy problem solving and like an organised workplace,,happy to work as part of a team or individually .
