I have been a teacher for 27 years. I have a masters in education with special education certification, reading specialist certification, and over 2500 hours in administration certification. I am currently looking for a job in administration to complete my EDL 1 certification. During my 27 years of teaching I have taught regular and special education, served as special education chairperson and tutoring coordinator for several years, and developed ELA and math curriculums and scope and sequences for several grade levels. I have personally sought out and attended conferences on instructional coaching by Elena Agular and Jim Knight in order to learn as much as possible to better help other teachers help their students succeed. I have mentored and coached new and veteran teachers. I have been successful at helping my students reach their potential and have attained the rating of highly effective every year since the inception of compass evaluation. Now I want to help other teachers do the same. This will allow me to reach more students.
