I have used Tortoise SVN, Git (command line and Git Cola), and Synergy for version control. I am the SW Region VP for YESNET (Young Employee resource group) and help with college recruitment and site-wide hiring events.

Studying spatially resolved characteristics of elastic non-Newtonian secondary breakup. Working on further development of an analytical model of the initial secondary breakup process.

Investigated secondary breakup of non-Newtonian elastic fluids by using high-speed video. Developed an analytic model to describe initial drop deformation.- Performing experiments to determine drop morphology during breakup, appropriate dimensionless groups, initial and total breakup times- Developing elastic non-Newtonian analytical model to describe early drop deformation and motion- Using xanthan gum/water solutions; capturing drop breakup with a high speed camera- Responsible for helping an undergraduate student complete research for a 'Projects in Mechanical Engineering' course
