The HR department was outsourced during 2015 which has resulted in a reduction in my HR responsibilities. I was asked to assist the Marketing department with various responsibilities, including arranging their sales conferences for up to 100 delegates. I am responsible for sourcing venues, organising meeting rooms and accommodation; attending the conferences to ensure that the event runs smoothly; organising the evening entertainment; collating feedback from attendees after the event. I also arrange other smaller regional meetings as well as managing each of the Brand’s budget trackers: raising purchase orders (using SAP), ensuring invoices are paid to suppliers and reporting monthly budget figures (from SAP) to Finance as well as each of the Brand managers. I also manage the promotional material’s approval process to ensure compliance with the pharmaceutical industry code of practice. I also liaise with marketing agencies to ensure the process of material production and distribution runs smoothly.This role has provided me with the opportunity to learn more about the pharmaceutical industry; the products which Lundbeck research and develop, as well as the daily challenges our sales team face in the field.

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, responsible for supporting line managers and employees with their HR queries; providing accurate and timely input of monthly payroll records; maintaining the HR database (HR Pro and SAP) to ensure accurate employee data which complies with data protection legislation, in accordance with HR practices; recording sickness absences and highlighting potential absence issues with managers; supporting managers and employees with using the Employee Self Service (ESS) system.Also responsible for providing basic compensation and benefits analysis as required by the Head of HR and supporting the Head of HR with the annual bonus and pay review processes; supporting the ongoing maintenance and administration of BUPA, Permanent Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, and Life Assurance, ensuring all records are kept up to date and reported to the appropriate insurers. The preparation of candidate and assessor packs for our Assessment centres is an additional responsibility as well as attending Assessment centres to assist with interviewing the candidates and providing role-play feedback.The role also involves reviewing the benefit packages annually with our third-party agency to ensure we are receiving the most favourable rates.Recently I managed the implementation of the Pension Auto enrolment programme, ensuring that our process adhered to the new pension regulations. For this piece of work I was awarded with an outstanding achievement prize and certificate.
