Professionally, my objective is to spread the word about the need for high quality accessible communications of the built environment, and to be an advocate for persons with communications based disabilities.During COVID 19 shutdowns, we worked to develop a new font for tactile reading only. It will reduce the number and size of signs needing extra sterilization, and make signs easier for both completely blind and partially sighted to read without having to put their faces right up to them. Privately, I'm a political "junky" -- progressive stripe. I worked hard for a woman President (Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Elizabeth Warren in 2020 but I'm satisfied with the team we have in the White House. COVID 19 has caused me to concentrate much more on my business, and my family.

Then, after a one cycle hiatus, during which I was often a voting alternate, I was appointed to represent the Hearing Loss Association of America.

I originally took charge and developed the chapter for Congressional District 45, but then organized a county-wide group called Indivisible OC Outreach to concentrate on training activists in skills like voter registration and voter education and "Get Out the Vote." Recently I was on the statewide committee to organize a California Summit for Indivisible.

I was also a member of a committee appointed by the State Fire Marshal to deal with evacuation plans and other safety issues. -
