Whilst everyone at Visa is responsible for creating a diverse and inclusive work environment, I am responsible for creating an Equality, Diversity, Wellness and Inclusion policy and a strategy and implementation plan which are the foundation to enhance the diversity and inclusion at Visa where employees can be their own authentic self. To do this, I work closely with our leaders to ensure they’re:- Evolving and monitoring our Diversity, Wellness and Inclusion Strategy and action plans- Acting as Diversity Ambassadors by communicating on and engaging our employees in the topic of diversity and inclusion, and- Capturing and sharing the voice of employees to ensure their views are represented and addressed.In addition, I work closely with our Employee Network Groups to share best practices and to evolve the groups from simply being a social network into a powerful advancement platform where talent and business development interconnect and build upon one another.Some of my specialties include:- Ability to shift from strategic thinking to hands-on delivery – creative, resourceful and pragmatic- Developing comprehensive diversity and inclusion and wellness strategies and action plans- Creating strategies for inclusive recruitment- Creating engaging, challenging and awareness raising, communication tools- Collaborative working with diversity and inclusion stakeholders- Monitoring impact on diverse groups- Creating online and classroom based training materials- Writing policy and guidance for different audiencesI manage the peer to peer employee recognition programme 'Wow Factors' – rewarding and recognising employees who ‘live’ Visa’s values.

Manage overall Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts across Visa Europe and lead employees on specific CSR initiatives and environmental efforts. I am the project lead for the interdisciplinary companywide CSR champions. I manage the relationships with external partners and consultants.Highlights- Created a corporate and social responsibility policy which was implemented across Europe- Introduced CV skills and mock interviews for over 2000 plus year 10 students- Volunteering | 15% of employees are currently engaged as mentors or have volunteered in at least one school/community related activity this year- 91% employee engagement 2012 and 2013, measured by annual employee surveys- Fundraising | more than €100,000,000 has been raised for UNICEF since its selection as Visa Europe’s chosen charity for fundraising in 2010.

As Internal Communications, I design and deliver regular update forums keeping employees informed of organisational wide key messages and ensuring that communications are timely, creative and engaging. Lead on internal communications during periods of organisational change; advising colleagues, managing communications risks and ensuring employees are consulted appropriately. Lead on employee communications using a variety of approaches in organisational projects, campaigns and working groups. Plan robust internal communication and engagement strategy and act as internal brand champion. I manage the current intranet and lead the project to build and involve the company intranet. For all stages of the intranet’s development, I hold responsibility for the overall visual design, site navigation, site content, engagement and training of users, coordination with key stakeholders and oversight of the technology.My role includes:- Coordinate creation of a visual design and theme for the intranet- Conduct research to understand intranet user needs- Lead efforts to create and maintain a sound site navigation (information architecture)- Manage the homepage to maintain a proper balance of content and tools- Oversee authoring and proper use of online channels for official company news- Manage projects to deliver intranet content or tools to mobile devices- Lead projects to improve sections of the intranet or deliver new tools through the intranet- Monitor user-generated content for appropriateness- Monitor site analytics and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
