Sharon started her career at KPMG, working in Surrey, London and the South East region before joining Roffe Swayne in 1997. She was the firm's Managing Partner from 2007 until 2016. Sharon’s focus is on ensuring that all Roffe Swayne’s clients consistently receive service and relationship excellence. Her client portfolio includes businesses from the manufacturing, recruitment, education, software and technology sectors, all of who recognise Sharon’s experience and commitment to their success.Sharon is a corporate partner leading on Corporate Finance transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and fund raising. She ensures that clients structure their transactions in a tax effective way to maximise cash in hand and minimise the cost of the transaction. She also assists shareholders and investors of growing businesses develop and realise their strategic objectives.Sharon is also an audit partner working with businesses of all sizes throughout Surrey and the South East ensuring that their annual accounts and audits are completed efficiently whilst identifying opportunities to improve internal controls and effectiveness of the finance teams.Sharon regularly acts as an outsourced Financial Director for businesses providing strategic and financial advice on a wide range of finance and accounting matters as well as acting as a sounding board for their strategic planning.When not working Sharon enjoys time with her family travelling, walking and both playing and watching sport and is a trustee for a number of local charities working to improve the education and opportunities for young people.
