Below is a selection of relevant assignments undertaken: PriceWaterhouseCoopers Indigenous Consulting – program evaluation of a Remote Alcohol and Drugs Workforce Program including methodology development, management of multiple Ethics approval processes, stakeholder management, consultation, evidence collection and analysis and reporting. Commonwealth Government Department – review of implementation of corporate services consolidation and identified a number of strategic and operational issues. Worked with the Department to develop a recommended action plan to address and provided support in developing communications for stakeholders, performance monitoring frameworks, strategic and operational planning. Northern Territory Government - Provision of risk management and consulting services including project management methodologies, performance indicators, evaluation tools and techniques, organisational functional assessments, design and development of job descriptions, development and delivery of recruitment and selection training, Executive job development and recruitment, stakeholder feedback, functional organisational reviews and strategic and business planning workshops. ACT Not for Profts - assisting with transition to the new NDIS including identification of strategic risks and priorities, development of planning documents and capacity building to implement planned priorities.

In July 2021 the Archdiocese agreed to a merger between Marymead and Catholic Care Canberra and Goulbourn. This has brought together a highly professional and dedicated team of over 600 people to better serve the needs of the community.

Heart Support Australia is the national body representing the 4.2 million Australians living with heart disease. Our programs and services provide the physical, psychological and social support that people who have experienced a cardiac event will need to ensure improved health outcomes, quality of life and reduced risk of a secondary heart event.

Examples include: Prime Minister and Cabinet – Provision of capacity strengthening and change management services to a number of Indigenous organisations to assist with implementation of the Remote Jobs and Communities Program. Included assessment of governance and program alignment, capacity strengthening of Board governance, transition planning and change management, program redesign, organisational structure design and development and negotiation of business and service modelling and commercial contract arrangements, workforce development and performance and financial reporting. Aboriginal Medical Services Alliance Northern Territory (AMSANT) - four separate projects related to the regionalisation of primary health care services to community controlled Aboriginal organisations including evaluation against capability frameworks, capacity building of the Board and senior management team and implementation of action plans to address identified gaps.  Kimberley Land Council - over 7 years consulting with the Kimberley Land Council on projects relating to business planning, capacity building and governance with the Board and senior management, organisational restructuring, funding submissions, CEO performance appraisal, HR management including Work Health Safety and independent assessments on performance and operational activities. Provision of consulting services to the Northern Territory Government over a number of years has included numerous organisational functional assessments, design and development of job descriptions, development and delivery of recruitment and selection training, Executive job development and recruitment, stakeholder feedback, functional organisational reviews and strategic and business planning workshops.

Board member for 6 years and chair for 2 years as well as heavily involved in fundraising activities.

Provision of consulting services to the Northern Territory Government over a number of years has included numerous organisational functional assessments, design and development of job descriptions, development and delivery of recruitment and selection training, Executive job development and recruitment, stakeholder feedback, functional organisational reviews and strategic and business planning workshops. Corporate Governance training and team building including application of Public Sector Codes of Conduct, assessment of individual and team performance and advice and recommendations to address performance gaps.

Working for the Department of the Chief Minister facilitated program reviews and consultancies for Northern Territory Government agencies including HR planning and management, risk management, program planning and evaluation and team building. She was part of the Executive of the Department of Corporate and Information Services (Northern Territory Government Shared Services provider) and managed the internal Departmental HR, Ministerial and Secretariat, legal, planning and performance reporting and Board. During this period, she also project managed the whole of Government Shared Services Reform agenda.

Sharon’s consulting career has also included a range of international assignments in countries including Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, and the People Republic of China. Her assignments for the World Bank, UNDP and AusAID included institutional strengthening, HR development including competency frameworks, risk management, performance audit, internal audit and training and development.Sharon also completed consulting assignments for Commonwealth agencies including Centrelink reviewing and analysing human resource practices and processes for roll out of the Commonwealth intervention teams in the Northern Territory and recruitment and selection better practices for staff engaged in remote service delivery.

Sharon started her career at the ANAO and spent 10 years in various roles including performance auditing and preparation of Better Practice Guides, graduate recruitment and training, secretariat and Board management and management of international stakeholder relations including organising and attending international conferences.
