Sharon Bindas is the Senior Director of Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh - School of Computing and Information (SCI). Before joining SCI (formerly the School of Information Sciences) in 2011, she was the Associate Director at the Center for Executive Education (CEE) in the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business of the University of Pittsburgh. Sharon has held various positions at the Katz School delivering degree and non-degree executive education programming. As part of Sharon’s current position, she manages the facilities operations of the School of Computing and Information, faculty affairs, personnel and human resource for both faculty and staff. Sharon is also responsible for the school's faculty search process. Sharon works closely with University of Pittsburgh staff, faculty, and students. She prides herself with offer excellent customer serviceSharon has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. She has over 29 years of experience in higher education, where she worked with the degree and non-degree executive education programs at the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh and now with the administration in the School of Computing and Information.She enjoys baking, music and most of all spending time with her family watching Penguins hockey and her PITT Panthers.
