About Sharon Brett-Richards, Dip Cii.

I am extremely passionate about working with people to help them achieve results. I do this by bringing new ideas to do things differently and to challenge the status quo. I joined the Insurance Industry in 2010 and took the opportunity to study and gain a Diploma CII Accreditation. I am proud to work within a Industry which has a critical role in supporting businesses with their capital, people, risk strategies and growth objectives. In my role at WTW I work with the business focussing on Sales Education, Coaching & Communication and Sales enablement, which is executed through our internal sales and relationship development programmes for client and market facing colleagues. I have implemented an educational programme of WTW's Products and Solutions across our GB business to educate colleagues on the breadth of what WTW can offer, to deliver a One WTW and Client First approach to our Clients . As of 2022, the educational programme has expanded to the WTW European business to 300+ colleagues on a bi-weekly basis. A key milestone in 2023,delivering 20 sessions attended by 5,000 colleagues and continued positive feedback on value to the business and for our clients. I coach and influence our WTW GB CRB and GLOB community to improve their professional digital brand and presence, and work with the business to drive results on this important strategic objective. Developing our colleagues at WTW is extremely important. We teach the importance of research and leading with insight to understand the challenges and opportunities that clients may face and how WTW can work with them to find the right solutions to support them, with their business. In 2023 I started a Coaching Level 5 Qualification, and already able to see the benefits and critical role that coaching can play within a business, and benefits to individuals to help them grow & develop. I am a Dementia Friend and an Ambassador for the Insurance United Against Dementia (IUAD) Campaign to raise awareness across our industry and support fundraising efforts to help beat Dementia, for Alzheimer's Society. For the Insurance Day For Dementia (IDFD) over the past five years I have co-lead the planning & execution of each years activities to raise awareness and funds on behalf of WTW. In addition, WTW have raised in excess of £300k, as part of a three year corporate partnership, which is something I am incredibly proud of, and the positive impact what this money will do to help those living with and caring for those with Dementia.
