My role: association management...providing leadership and professional support for conference planning, the work of the Board of Directors and sponsored initiatives, organizational planning, communications, awards, meetings, membership, and website. The organization: NAPC is a national non-profit organization which seeks to improve the human condition through encouraging research-based community planning and action addressing human service and health issues. Planning councils bring people together to identify needs and work toward solutions, mobilizing community involvement, developing and coordinating services, advocating for informed decisions by funders and policy makers, and linking people with community resources. NAPC's annual conference builds knowledge and networks.
