How resilient are you? And your Company? I work with directors, teams and organisations to increase their resilience, wellbeing and emotional intelligence (EQ). I help them develop their people and wellness strategy, to understand trends in the future of work and facilitate culture change through training and support. I’ve been an advocate for wellness and Emotional Intelligence as a way to improve personal and team performance since the late 1990s. It’s been a technique that I’ve applied in many roles and situations over the years. I now raise awareness, advocate and train leaders and companies in wellness in various roles:• As director, speaker and well-being advocate at Discover your Bounce for Business I advise and work with organisations including Shell and National Composites Centre as well as charities such as The National Autistic Society and Creative Youth Network to improve their wellness cultures and resilience.• As a Global Council member at ACCA I champion EQ, leadership and team resilience and I have spoken on these subjects at the National Conference in Wales, and at member events online across the world. • As director and Consultant at Newgrange Developments, I deliver a range of advice at executive and board level. My specialism is corporate governance and the S in ESG An Accountant by profession, with a creative and entrepreneurial streak, my career has combined leadership, consultancy and life-long learning with many years of experience in governance.I’m keen to make a positive impact on corporate culture in more organisations, through DYBB, by taking on additional part-time roles at a senior level (such as NED or Consultancy) around my wellness and corporate governance specialisations.
