I taught adult college students in a non-traditional, hybrid, accelerated format for Ohio Christian University in the Adult and Graduate Students department - online. I had the privilege of teaching all of the 8 associate's Degree level courses in Human Services and in the area of Substance Abuse Counseling.

As a grant writer, I contacted various foundations to acquire grants to help fund specific projects, or to acquire general support, for the interdenominational Christian ministry of Worldwide Discipleship Association, Inc. I research foundations, assemble the grantors' requested information, write the grants, and submit applications prior to their deadlines. I also update the database on funders.

In February of 2015, I acquired my Certification as a Professional Life Coach. Since then, I have engaged in life coaching individuals and have also engaged in coaching clients at the Real Life Center in Peachtree City, GA.

I was an Adjunct Professor at Point University in the Adult Access Program since 2008. Taught several courses to adults as an Adjunct Professor in the Human Services Department in an accelerated learning format, utilizing the internet Moodle Learning Platform. This position required me to meet with the students, in a classroom setting one night a week, while maintaining communication and grading homework that has been submitted to Moodle. I also engage students via Distance Learning. In addition, I regularly counseled students regarding graduate school options. Then the satellite site that I worked at closed.I taught two courses:Introduction to Psychology 1010 (& Distance Learning)Cultural Diversity -Psychology 2100

I was the first High School Counselor employed by Trinity, and I established and sponsored the High School's National Honor Society and the Beta Club. I also gathered information from universities, colleges, technical schools, and the military as I built their guidance library. I counseled primarily the Juniors and Seniors and prepared them for college entrance. I also provided support and guidance for students in high school and junior high who came to me for guidance in other areas. Plus I established a peer-led after-school tutoring program.

I primarily engaged in providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, children and families. I aided a wide variety clients who presented with a broad spectrum of psychological issues. I also engaged in post trauma counseling with families and groups. Plus, I led the following educational groups, including: marital enrichment, relaxation skills, and parenting skills. I also facilitated several Rainbows groups, that focused on helping children who have experienced losses in their lives, through divorce or death of a family member. Finally, I also provided support to Hurricane Katrina Survivors and helped facilitate the debriefing of a group of volunteers.
