When I found myself back home on the east coast at the end of 2103 after a difficult transition in my life, I was nervous about my prospects. For years I worked for desirable companies in the tech and entertainment industries, helping people along their career journeys to find their next big opportunity. I loved working in those creative and innovative fields with interesting people and wasn't sure how I would fare working in banking or healthcare.Who knew that I would spend the next 10 years of my life working for a financial services company?! Discover Financial Services has given me the tools and resources to shine brighter than I ever have before. Each role I've held has provided exciting challenges and rewards. The people I interact with every day embody the company's values of doing the right thing and impacting the community through volunteerism, all while treating each other with respect.At Discover, I've had the pleasure of placing hundreds of people in new roles, recruiting new and existing talent and determining eligibility for employment through fair chance assessments.
