Established relationships with vendors in order to keep the project on time and on budget. • Teaching of Information Technology courses that involve analysis, business processes, project management, data mining, logic and problem solving, database development and more, at several colleges and universities including: Alverno College, Mount Mary University, Cardinal Stritch University, St. Mary University (MN), St. Paul Technical College, Minneapolis County Technical College. It Consultant
Consultant on large scale new software development project utilizing object oriented technology for what was then HDSL and DSL technology. This project required travel to Phoenix location to train technicians on the use of the software. This project engaged the full software lifecycle development. The toolset used for the administration of the project was MS Project.This large-scale project involved new development for the organization using SmallTalk, an object oriented software, with an Oracle back-end. Process flows (swim lanes) were necessary (MS Visio) to communicate among the various departments within the organization as to accuracy and accountability of functions. Rational Rose was used as a testing tool, and Rational was used as our versioning toolset. Review of documentation of technical writer, and then training of technicians in the Twin Cities as well as Phoenix so that high speed Internet orders could be successfully handled. Team size was approximately 33 people, which included a combination of consultants and employees. Consultants were from various backgrounds and countries, which created a pleasant and diverse work environment.
