A Biochemistry major from Lehigh University, I have gained a diverse skill set through various positions since my graduation in 2016. My time with my independently started bookstore has helped me to develop an excellent business mindset while my time at ABS and QPS have given my scientific knowledge both breadth and depth in being able to work in both a GLP lab and non-GLP lab. Though my degree focuses on protein biochemistry, I have gained enormous amounts of experience in whole organ dissection, targeted cell isolation preps, and management of a large scale biospecimen inventory. In my personal time, I work as a soccer referee ranging from local youth soccer to semi-professional matches to Division 1 college matches. I also sit on the elected board of the Philadelphia (EP&D) college referee chapter. The leadership, negotiation, and communication skills that I have obtained through this avenue provide an excellent foundation for the future. The development of quick-thinking rationale in a fast-paced environment is critical in today's job market and I believe this will only continue to grow.
