I started working in an administrative capacity part-time during high school. In the past, I've solely managed a showroom within the Dallas World Trade Center for Kim Imports, wholesaler of gold/silver and various precious stone jewelry. I traveled for the company on trade shows and yet a few years later it seemed that I needed less travel in my new parental lifestyle and migrated into the agricultural chemical seed treatment industry for 19 years in Gustafson’s corporate office as the Invoice Specialist and Distribution/Services Coordinator of the Order Department.In 2005, Bayer Cropscience acquired Gustafson LLC and moved all corporate functions out of state. My termination package was very reasonable, but I lost my 20 year pension, within one year of qualification. In the fall of 2006, a staffing agent recommended a temporary to permanent position with Chippenhook, as a visual merchandiser, with a long time reputation predominantly in the jewelry industry. I began in their independents department and was transferred within a year into one of the company's major accounts sales teams. In March 2009, Chippenhook had a substantial layoff, due to the national economy affecting the jewelry industry, as consumers found themselves spending less. However, this ultimately became the only way that I was able to take care of crucial family matters that would have been impossible otherwise. In June 2012, Chippenhook contacted me and requested that I return to work for them, due to a vacancy. I stepped right back into the position that I had left and provided project administration duties for multiple major accounts of the company.
