I began working at Tesco during the Covid-19 pandemic. My role involves stock replenishment and helping customers with their shopping.

I worked on two conservation projects with GVI's partners. First, with Fregate Island Private, helping to analyse spatial data of the Giant Aldabra Tortoise. I used QGIS to create heatmaps and R to produce figures showing patterns in the data. I also wrote a scientific report for the project. The second project was helping Coastal Jaguar Conservation (CJC) in Costa Rica. I wrote a literature review of eight studies that had researched wildlife in Central America, in particular, jaguars and marine turtles. Both of these projects gave me the opportunity to apply my skills to real-world conservation projects. I also took part in online courses on leadership, career development and scientific research.
