Prior to launching Great Dames,Inc, Sharon had a successful 28-year career at DuPont Company during which she travelled extensively and lived abroad. Most recently, she was Global Marketing Leader of the DuPont Protecting Lives Growth Strategy -- a multi-billion business segment that focuses on helping people around the world live safer lives at home and at work. She led global teams to develop a comprehensive growth strategy to support the Protecting Lives business segment, one of the fastest growing and most profitable segments at DuPont. At DuPont, Sharon led global teams that focused on defining the competitive landscape, market needs, and offering gaps around areas of focus for several different businesses. Their growth recommendations integrate market intelligence and insights into customer needs, channels, brands, technology and strategic relationships. The team also explored opportunistic market opportunities. In addition, her teams were responsible for developing and launching new offerings that create value for customers while responding to their needs for improving business performance while reducing risks. Sharon also held numerous assignments in finance, marketing, communications, corporate social responsibility and public affairs during her career at DuPont.
