Sharon Klein is a fully licensed and certified clinical social worker by the state of New York. She is also permanently certified in the state of New York as a School Social Worker. In addition, Sharon is also board certified as a professional Christian counselor.After completing her bachelor’s degree in psychology from CW Post, Long Island University – Brookville, New York, she went on to earn her master’s degree in social work (MSW) from the University of Stony Brook – Stony Brook, New York. Currently, Sharon Is a School Social Worker for a Seaford School District on Long Island and has her own faith-based group private practice.Sharon pursued training and education in Professional Counseling and theology from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, with an emphasis in faith-based counseling and theology based on the Word of God. This coursework and further training have allowed her to become Board Certified as a Professional Christian Counselor (BCPCC).Sharon also trained in Applied Behavioral Analysis from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell and Florida Institute of Technology. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).Most recently, she became an Adoption Competent Therapist (ACT) at the Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.) and also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Tempermant Theory.
