Orange Chair, Inc. of Cincinnati offers both pre-designed and custom upholstered products for residential and commercial applications. Our on-staff expertise encompasses the entire process from initial concept to finished goods, design, engineering (hardwood and plywood), CNC machining, frame assembly, sewing and upholstering.While focusing primarily on seating we also offer toss pillows, loose cushions, headboards, wall panels, banquettes and other upholstered goods. Orange Chair welcomes requests for modification to our existing products and is very interested in building your new designs. All products are available COM and COL.

•Responsible for the development, research, ordering, education, communication, and filing of all new product information for a 250+ employee firm. Display new product information and samples weekly. Update resource design contacts daily/weekly in a database of over 1300 vendors•Communication link to represent FRCH Design Worldwide to outside manufacturer representatives. Arrange all daily/weekly/monthly vendor product meetings, breakfasts and luncheon presentations and outside business related activities for interior design, graphic design and planning/merchandising products and services•Coordination and facilitation of Resource Design Hullabaloos, 1 per quarter, and several Vendor sponsored mill trips per year. Schedule and attend professional trade shows and conferences yearly. Represent Resource Design for FRCH•Attend all update meetings, manufacturer representative presentations, resource design discipline meetings and all other resource design sponsored events•Assisted on 10 – 15 design projects. Researched and selected products and materials, developed custom products, ordered samples, wrote specifications, value engineered and created finish sample boards or displays for clients and landlord presentations (Appleseed’s, Cold Water Creek, Auntie Anne’s, HDS – Virgin Stores, Luxottica – ILORI, Darden Restaurants, Macy’s and Wetzel Pretzels)

•Provided interior design consultation services to residential clientele•Pre-construction consultation•Developed floor plans and elevations•Designed and specified custom upholstery, window treatments, bedding and case goods for client projects•Provides clients with color renderings of their proposed interior spaces(s), including specified paint, wall covering, furniture, custom window treatments, flooring, lighting, accessories and artwork•Entered purchase orders for clients specified merchandise in database•Prepared quotes for clients project fabrication and installation•Reviewed and approved written purchase orders for custom orders•Followed up with clients, vendors, workrooms, and installers•Coordinated installations•Selected merchandise to display on the sales floor from our warehouse inventory weekly.
