Ms. Bean led stabilization efforts for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Haiti and later joined USAID as Director of the Office of Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance. Following her tenure in Haiti, Ms. Bean worked in the Sahel with USAID and AFRICOM where she assessed and scaled governance and stabilization programming convening stakeholders from across the interagency and the region to facilitate cross-programmatic learning.
