The Inner North Community Foundation covers the municipalities of Yarra, Darebin and Merri-bek raising funds from the local community and distribute grants mainly focused on pathways to employment - breaking down barriers for disadvantaged communities. As the Executive Officer I was responsible for developing relationships with the community both to raise funds and grow the corpus, and to create links with potential grant recipients. The foundation was established in 2007 and by 2014 had distributed just over $1,400,000 in grants to local not for profit organisations. As Film Unit Coordinator I managed all aspects of filming in the municipality relating to insurance, parking and amenity for traders and residents. I liaised with film production companies and television networks and advocated on behalf of the film industry in relation to filming on location.I promoted the film unit in radio interviews with RRR on Film Buff's Forecast and worked to resolve conflicts between stakeholders' interests.
