Over the last 3 decades, I helped build and operate many homecare and assisted living organizations.My journey from newly licensed Registered Nurse to Corporate COO was riveting to say the least.As a young mom of 5, I reentered the workforce and quickly acquired my first management position by default.My predecessor was operating dishonestly and it cost him his job.I was fortunate to be mentored by smart, kind people and worked hard at learning all I could from them about the Homecare & Assisted Living industries as well as building and leading successful teams.In 2021, I was experiencing burnout and began exploring the next phase of my career.I believed that my 30 years of "hands on" clinical and operational experience in the home and community based industry would be an incredible asset. I wanted to share my knowledge with newer operators less versed in healthcare or larger ones who simply didn't have the time.So, in late 2021 I opened ClinOps Consulting. The response was invigorating.Since that time , I've spent my time helping home and community based organizations reach their goals.My mission is to help healthcare providers master operations and unleash success. My solopreneurship began in New York but now extends across the Country.My portfolio:→ I write White Papers, RFP's, RFO's, Policy and Procedures and more.→ I advise on compliance, quality improvement, value based payment and much more.→ I assist New York Home Care Agencies on program development utilizing FMAP funding.→ I complete Department of Health and other governmental applications such as NHTD & TBI Waivers, Training Programs etc.→ I prepare homecare agencies, DME companies and Assisted Living organizations for survey.→ I coach teams and individuals to be succesful.My results:→ Approved NHTD & TBI programs for various LHCSA's.→ RFP for County Nursing Contract won!→ Sale of New York State Education Department training school completed.→ Policy & Procedure manuals completed.→ 10 training program applications under review by the NYS Health department.→ New compliance officer training completed with positive reviews.
