I was the proud creator of sydneymum.com.au, a magazine-style site that ran for 10 years featuring amazing women (as all women are) from Sydney and New South Wales in Australia. I had a brilliant team of contributors and loved the opportunity to champion women.

In my role as a copywriter, I covered the entire spectrum of B2B and B2C communications for Small Builders. From the website and software portal to direct mail, email campaigns, landing pages, business proposals, optimised blog posts, social media content, PR initiatives, and onboarding scripts, I played a pivotal role in shaping the narrative of the company. Given the dynamic nature of a startup, my involvement extended beyond content creation. I had the invaluable opportunity to collaborate closely with the CEO in strategically developing the brand, refining the product and the user experience (UX) enhancement of the portal.

I started as the Event Development Manager running large-scale events, and later as the Appeals and Relationships Manager. I managed four volunteer fundraising committees, worked with stakeholders to prepare and present appeal documents, and handled an extensive database. This role enriched my professional experience and reinforced my commitment to work that makes a difference.

What an incredible opportunity to work with the Marketing Manager to promote the AFTRS and all the people that make it great - the students, the teachers and its alumni. I worked across most of the marketing and pr content for print, online and radio.
