CurrentAfter beginning her career in inpatient orthopaedics at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, Sharon took her first job in private practice sports and orthopaedics at Columbia Rehabilitation Centre in Oakville and has remained in private practice since 1998. While working in Toronto at Sports Medicine Specialists, Sharon had the opportunity to work with Tennis Canada, she organized and hosted courses for fellow therapists and oversaw the custom bracing for the clinic. Sharon next took an opportunity to work in Seattle first at Olympic Physical Therapy and then at Active Physical Therapy. Her primary role while working in Seattle was direct patient care and Sharon also was involved with marketing and mentoring.After Seattle, Sharon took a brief stop in Whistler to work for a season at Creekside Physiotherapy before moving home to Vancouver. She had the opportunity to work at several clinics in Vancouver. From the most recent the clinics include: Sport and Spinal Physical Therapy, Arbutus Physiotherapy and Wellness, Treloar Physiotherapy Kerrisdale, Active Life Physiotherapy and a locum at both Hollyburn Physiotherapy and Village Physiotherapy. Sharon has now taken on a new adventure in her career with opening her own clinic - Balance Physiotherapy - with a colleague..
