I was a temporary Student Caller. In this position, I would call Ryerson University Alumni, and undergraduates, informing them about the new updates and services that are available for them at Ryerson University. Usually, it would be things like the new student center that helped students out with creating resumes and formatting/editing essays and letting the alumni know, about the new athletic gym or the new digital media zone that were available to them. Along with this, I would ask the members if they would like to donate a small gift to Ryerson, as a token of their appreciation to Ryerson for helping them with their education, which would go towards helping the University to fund bursaries, scholarships and even new equipment for various courses.
