Recruited as a project manager to bring automotive standards to the company regarding QMS and processes. Responsible for implementing revised QMS (ISO 9001,14001,45001 & 27001) practices to reflect the growing capacity of the business from simple repair shop to manufacturer. This included updating and refreshing the QMS manuals, company documentation, and processes, and the day to day overseeing of GDPR. As part of the management team, I was responsible for ensuring QMS got the correct focus across the whole business. I achieved a more professional look to many reports and presentations which was observed and commented on positively by customers. I increased communications between management and employees via regular newsletters and briefings and increased knowledge of ISO standards and processes. Internal auditing and resolution of non-compliances increased from zero to thirty-six audits per year.

Working in the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) business unit I was responsible for the delivery of all harnesses for the pre-production builds. Often working to tight deadlines and with late changes it was my responsibility to ensure that all the manufacturing plants, the UK warehouse and the client were working to the same plan and that it met expectations. The role involved a lot of liaisons and managing of resources as well as problem solving to overcome obstacles and challenges. Developing good working relationships was key to getting projects completed on time in the adversity of many late changes to design and delivery. I was also responsible for managing the budget for this delivery and constantly challenged to maintain cost levels despite late changes causing higher needs for expedited shipping.

A reduction in numbers in Engineering saw me move to Marketing where I supported the pricing of options by competitor and cost analysis. Then the implementation of a dealer network system. Another organisational reorganisation led to Logistics Technical Support team in a business analyst/project management role to identify and implement process improvements ensuring that the Bentley Supply Chain responded to the changes in the business and kept pace with developments in the industry.
