Interviewing and advising Discrimination clients orally, in writing, by email and by telephone, preparing witness statements, drafting pleadings for Employment Tribunal and County Court claims, representing clients at Tribunal Hearings, negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.

Whilst I was employed at Cheshire, Halton & Warrington Race & Equality Centre, I supervised, managed and trained Legal Practice Course student volunteers from the College of Law in Chester. I trained the students about Discrimination Law and the Equality Act 2010. The students then carried out legal work, such as drafting tribunal applications and letters to clients.

Preparing detailed bill of costs, serving parties in relation to housing disrepair claims in the Birmingham Area.

Whilst employed by Dicksons Solicitors, I acted as a Voluntary Practitioner Mentor of Students attending Staffordshire University to study the Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice. I provided the students with legal guidance and training. The students then carried out legal work, such as drafting letters to clients. The scheme allowed the students to experience what it was like to practise law.
