I am passionate about providing client solutions and leading strong and successful teams. For our clients, I solve problems, offer solutions to employer groups that benefit their employee population and budget, and help clients understand their benefits. With my team, I prioritize helping them be successful so they can achieve and exceed their goals. I love that I play a key role in helping my company be best in class by using my creativity and consistently implementing innovative ideas that help our clients and teams while positively impacting the bottom line. The most important lesson I have learned in my career is to execute successfully at all aspects of a position to gain visibility and be aware of transferable skills that are valuable for other roles. One of the things that sets me apart in the industry is that I have experience with multiple market sectors allowing me the opportunity to have exposure to a variety of matrix partners and customers. I am also fortunate to have been selected for multiple leadership programs that have allowed me to grow in my career. The most significant growth was being promoted to Director.Having proven my ability to excel in multiple areas of responsibility, I was promoted to my current role as Director of Sales and Account Management for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia, a Director II position. I lead a team of 13 Sales Representatives and Account Managers selling and retaining individual and business customers in Georgia. We focus on three market segments: Individual, Small Group, and Large Group. Some of the successes I am most proud of in this position are launching two groundbreaking MEWA products in Georgia and having multiple direct reports receive promotions to higher-level positions in the organization.I am always striving for the next innovative idea, achievement, or goal. One of my favorite quotes is, "Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts," by Winston Churchill. I genuinely believe its message is to never stop and never be satisfied. Onward and upward is always my goal for not only myself but for my team and my organization. Outside of work, I enjoy being active as a member of the Georgia Health Underwriters Association, serving on the Board of Trustees and as the Chair of the Development Committee for the Galloway School, traveling, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.
