I joined Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2000 and was fortunate to join the ZERO2FIVE Food Industry Centre in 2013 firstly as Programme Co-ordinator for the KITE Programme (Knowledge Innovation Technology Exchange) and then in 2014, I was appointed the centre’s Marketing and Communications Officer.➡️My role within the ZERO2FIVE Food Industry Centre (FIC) involved marketing, social media, promotion, event organising and maintaining the ZERO2FIVE FIC Website for the Centre and its hugely successful KITE programme marketing activities and Website, which exceeded its £10 million target and assisted the Welsh Food and Drink Economy growth turnover by over £103 million during the 5 years of the project. ➡️Liaising with partners, food and drink manufacturers and the Welsh Government and Food Innovation Wales.➡️In addition, I monitored and analysed digital marketing activity reviews linked to the FIC and food trends and report outputs to the ZERO2FIVE FIC Director, Head of Marketing & Business Consultancy and to the Skills Marketing & Communications Manager in order and executed the marketing strategy. KITE (Knowledge Innovation Technology Exchange) Pan Wales Project & Welsh Government Projects within the ZERO2FIVE Food Industry Centre at Cardiff School of Health Sciences, Cardiff Metropolitan University. 🟢My role involved working closely with the Food Industry Centre's operational and technical staff to ensure that sound communications and monitoring systems and procedures were in place and in compliance with EU Regulations. 🟢This entailed processing claims, debt management, project output and financial reports, creating databases to monitor targets, project evaluation, research, social media, marketing, etc.http://www.kite-programme.org.uk/

Promoting and marketing work based learning to businesses in the convergence areas of Wales, which is fully or partially funded by the European Social Fund. Specialising in Leadership and Management modules which could count towards an UG and PG degree that will also upskill workforce and assist businesses striving to survive the economic downturn. I also monitored the South East Network project budget and ensured procurement and ESF regulations. This Pan Wales project was ESF working with University of Glamorgan, Newport University, Trinity and Swansea University, Bangor University, Llandrillo and Glyndwr colleges too.

This led to me organising and choreographing Miss Cardiff, Miss Queen of Wales and Miss Queen of England for the Mrs Europe Pageants via Miss/Mrs Austria Corporation and many other events and worked around Europe as a fashion and promotions model and guest TV Hostess for ITV Wales and West.
