Started working in the real estate industry in 1986 for a mortgage company, processing and closing loans. In 1987, began working in the Grand Rapids market for the then "Transamerica Title Ins. Co" as and Escrow Officer. In 1990, transferred to Muskegon for the same company. In 1996, became the Escrow Branch Mananger under the LandAmerica Transnation brand. In 2006, added additioanl branches in Ottaw aCounty. In 2008, became one of the primary owners purchasing the West Michigan operations from LandAmerica creating Transnation Title Agency and Managed the Lakeshore Division - Muskegon, Grand Haven and Holland, as well as the company Escrow Operations. Continued to expand the division to add new offices and Florida operations. Created processes and procedures for the company as well as conducting training and mentoring. 2023 promoted to Chief Commercial Officer to organize and grow the commercial footprint of the company through individual mentoring of the staff on procedures to become more efficient in their tasks and expansion of their customer base.
