Environmental Health And Safety Administrator
Current• Responsible for leadership and management of occupational safety, environmental compliance, and health programs• Ensure organizational compliance with laws, regulations, and standards• Lead the development of the EHS strategies and plans, build a proactive safety culture across the organization, and cooperate in a cross functional manner as a change agent with all departments• Develop, implement, and manage policies, procedures, and programs that enhance the environmental health and safety of our managers, operators, support team, and customers• Monitor effectiveness of EHS policies, procedures, programs and initiatives, periodically assess compliance status, develop and implement effective audit and inspection programs, utilize key metrics to drive performance• Identify EHS training needs, revise existing training materials and develop new training as necessary• Coordinate risk assessment of potentially hazardous materials and chemical emergency response programs• Establish performance standards, set improvement goals, publish periodic performance data on compliance• Coordinate safety huddles to address operator concerns and identify potential hazards on the shop floor• Train new team members on proper equipment operation and the use of required PPE• Track Near-Miss, First Aid, and Recordables data to gauge progress of organizational safety• Assist with auditing and maintenance of ISO 14001 environmental management certification
