I am an assistant facilitator of a youth leadership class that teaches introductory leadership skills. My responsibility is to assist in teaching a class of 15-20 children between ages 6-12 to build their leadership skills using leadership styles learned in class. Some activities covered include presentations, case studies and impromptu thinking.I learned how to maintain a good relationship with the students, whilst giving constructive feedback to improve on their skills. Many challenges have encouraged me to take initiative to solve problems by communicating with students and parents to determine the optimal solution.

Planned initiatives including a clothing drive and selling merchandise to raise funds that will be contributed to the youth shelter.

Executed a Bake Sale to raise awareness and funds for a good cause. Planned an agenda for Me to We week which includes an assembly for the entire school.
