- Identify, source, and establish strong partnerships with reputable suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors of MEP materials.- Assess potential suppliers based on criteria such as quality, cost-effectiveness, reliability, and delivery timelines.- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and advantageous agreements for the organization.- Work closely with project teams to understand MEP material requirements for both ongoing and upcoming projects.- Develop comprehensive procurement plans detailing material specifications, quantities, budgets, and delivery schedules.- Initiate purchase orders for MEP materials in alignment with project requirements and procurement strategies.- Maintain proactive communication with suppliers to track order progress, resolve issues, and address potential delays.- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to ensure procured MEP materials meet established standards and specifications.- Prepare regular procurement reports for management, highlighting key performance metrics, cost savings, and opportunities for process improvement.- Monitor and manage procurement-related expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising material quality or project timelines.

• Handling the complete procurement cycle from receiving requisitions, sourcing multiple quotations, negotiation, PO creation, PO followup, good receipts, and supplier payments by coordinating with the internal departments and externally with suppliers• Negotiating the received quotations and placing orders at a price within the budget without compromising on the required quality• Making comparisons and evaluating the prices, lead time, payment terms, hidden costs, and quality• Following up on the orders placed and receiving the materials within the specified delivery time• Creating and submitting the Monthly Material Purchase Report and Material Delivery Report (on project sites).• Submitting the invoices and delivery notes received from the supplier to the accounts department• Researching the market to develop new suppliers and bringing them on board with favourable terms• Evaluating and reducing the cost variations by converting them into blanket orders• Maintaining a healthy relationship with the suppliers
