At Discover Financial Services, our team focuses on cybersecurity risk management and third-party risk management (TPRM) which has enhanced the security posture of our third parties. As a Senior Manager, my role involves steering comprehensive risk assessments and managing a robust vulnerability program, contributing significantly to the protection of financial data and systems.In parallel, serving as a Research Fellow at Space ISAC allows me to collaborate on pioneering cybersecurity initiatives at the intersection of space and information security. My contributions to the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) reflect a deep commitment to advancing industry standards and embody my passion for safeguarding critical infrastructures.Given that cyber security is a dynamic field, I have obtained and maintained cyber security, risk, audit and PCI certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and PCI - Internal Security Assessor (PCI ISA).My academic journey has traversed through me obtaining my BE from MIT Manipal, MBA from Loyola University Chicago, a stint with UC Berkeley and me pursuing my MS in Technology, Cyber security and Policy from CU Boulder.
