The ESOP Association’s Advisory Committees support the Association’s mission to educate andadvocate employee ownership with an emphasis on Employee Stock Ownership Plans. The Advisory Committees helping develop topics for the Association’s educational programs, the publications and products, and articles for the Association’s newsletter or similar publication. They also provide opinions to the Association’s Board of Directors and staff on public policy issues on which the Association Board of Directors consider in taking positions on public policy impacting employee ownership and ESOPs.

She provides a range of valuation services, specializes in the appraisal of operating companies, family limited partnerships, and limited liability corporations for a variety of purposes, including estate and gift tax, potential sale and acquisition, divestitures, financial reporting, corporate planning, and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs). Her expertise includes the valuation of intangible assets, such as common stock, restricted stock, preferred stock, general and limited partner interests. Sharyl was selected as a 2014 Working Mother of the Year in Working Mother magazine, and as Top Mentor for Moss Adams Advisory Services in 2019.

Responsibilities included monitoring and improving the financial condition of the company, performing all internal corporate financial analysis, financial projections, budgeting, credit analysis, industry analysis, and trend analysis. She assessed bank financing requirements, managed the company’s line of credit, and engaged in interest rate locks. She was also responsible for analyzing potential acquisition targets and all investments, both public and private.
