I have moved out of the education corporate world to working with Veterans who are unhoused as well as those who may not qualify for housing assistance or are on the brink of becoming unhoused. I am implementing a program called to Farm to vet to work with veterans and families who food is an issue that may cause additional financial problems. It is designed to help supplement people with SNAP benefits. Another aspect of this program will identify people who may have behaviors that feed the food insecurity. Do they know how to grocery shop, meal plan or cook. When these are identified additional services are provided.
